About

I was a stay at home mom, recently gone back to work part time for my husband.   I have 3 beautiful kids, whose ages are 15, 13, and 8.  My days are spent dropping off at school, errands, cleaning, and picking up at school, and now three days a week are answering phones and office work for my husband.   Evenings are spent running to basketball practice for the youngest, watching dd cheer at varsity basketball games, and weekends are spent dancing or micro sprint racing with my sons.  We are a busy family of 5!  My hubby works hard for us to be able to do all of those things for and with our kids, but he carries loads of stress around.  I appreciate him so much for providing for us, and allowing me to stay home with our last son until he went to school!  I hold a strong faith in God, as He is who carries me through.  This blog is just a place for me to journal about my day, misc. rants and venting sessions, and to possibly minister to someone in need of some scripture.  I am no expert, but God is.

I hope this is a lighthearted place, and not too preachy for you.  Often times you’ll just find something about my everyday life.  I hope you can take something from it, and visit often for updates.

  1. Jen,

God brought you to mind this week – a few times. Just wanted to stop by (finally) to say hello… hello. For whatever reason, I’ve been compelled to pray for/with you. Not sure what to pray exactly (perhaps you do?), but I am, and I will.

It’s nice to get to officially “meet” you. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, and thank you for encouraging me as you have.

    I’ll be by again.
